Also called Pater Tiberinus, Father Tiber.
Their story
Tiberinus was the god of the Tiber, said to be a king of Alba Longa who drowned in the river and gave it his name. In the Aeneid he rises from the river in a grey-green robe with reeds in his hair and tells Aeneas in a dream that he has reached his true home. His festival was on 8 December, at a shrine on the Tiber island. Prayers to Father Tiber appear in Livy and Ennius.
