Their story

In the Voyage of Bran, Manannán rides his chariot over the waves and tells Bran that what looks like sea to him is a flowering plain. He gave the Tuatha Dé Danann a mist to hide their dwellings and ruled the Land of Promise. Manx tradition says the Isle of Man paid him a rent of green rushes each Midsummer.
