Their story
Harmonia is the daughter of Ares and Aphrodite. Zeus gave her as wife to Cadmus, founder of Thebes, and all the gods came to their wedding. She received a necklace, made by Hephaestus, that brought misfortune to all who later owned it. In old age she and Cadmus were turned into serpents and taken to the Isles of the Blessed.
